A Catholic Life Reports on Portugal

Good news, Portugal has voted pro-life for now. Keep them in your prayers.

I am sorry, but the low turnout only meant that the referendum is not-binding, which means that the parliament is free to approve or not any change. And our Prime-Minister already said he will make all efforts to change the actual law by Parliament vote (as it did not change by referendum). Only if we had a turnout over 50% and the vote "No" had won, would they be prohibited to change the law. They are now free to do whatever they please with the law.

It's a sad day.
