Good-bye Miller Lite

I will be joining in the national boycott of Miller Brewing Company for sponsoring a blatantly anti-Christian festival in San Fransisco. (And yes, until reading this I was a Miller lite drinker).

Anyone got a Bud-lite?

Bud Lite I believe has that great commercial of the guy and his girlfriend or wife driving along the highway and they see a guy hitch hiking but carrying an axe but he also has Bud Lite so the female says..."but he has an axe"...and the male says "but he has Bud Lite". Next they have taken him in the car in the back seat and they then see a guy with a chain saw also hitch hiking and carrying Bud Light and the guy with the ax is the most afraid even though the chain saw guy has Bud Lite.

Excellent point. Bud lite tends to have better commercials.

I still prefer the taste of Miller but to be honest, I like SouthPaw better than either even though its cheaper.

It can be rough on the stomach though.

WTC? Why are you drinking either?

I'm enjoying a local Kansas City Boulevard Wheat right now. Mmm, good.

I don't drink it anyway... :) In fact, the older I get, the more I dislike beer altogether!

GFF,

Two words 'Franziskaner Hefeweizen'. Taste the golden richness.

I abandon Bud Lite after high school for, what I still believe today, was a better tasting Miller Lite. I refuse to return to Bud Lite because of this boycott, so I'll stick with Hefeweizen and Guinness. By the way, any German wheat beer is delicious in my opinion.

I'm German by heritage and my first choice is always a German beer. Bitberger is one of my favorites.

Can't always afford that though so that's why I drink the cheap stuff from time to time.

You are all far from high school. Time to develop adult tastes.

Scotch! (Or else, try Tennents Lager - it's from Scotland! And it it's not Scottish, it's Crap!)

I always considered it bilge water but I'll make it a point to vigorously eschew that crap should anybody thrust a can of it into my hands.

I never anticipated such a lively discussion. Thos - it's not that I don't have adult tastes I just tend to still have Highschoolish budget!

I'm thrifty in general, even when it comes to beer. I only spring for the good stuff on special occasions.
