Officially Hitched

The little guy in the first picture is my 7 year old step son Miguel. Yes - I'm a husband and a step-father all at once. Well if blogging is a little slow for a while... at least I have a good excuse.

Haha. Hey I just wore what they told me to. They kept asking me about preferences for different things: "What song do you want here?"

"MMM I don't know how about Ave Maria".

"Ok. Well usually they play Canon in D here"

"Oh ok.. Well then let's just do canon in d"

"It's your wedding I'm not trying to change your mind"

"THEN WHY DID YOU BRING IT UP!!!"

hehe

Glad all that headache is over with now.

Thanks Kat - I was glad to see you there. I told Joe it was one of the most reverent masses I ever went to at Saint Thomas - receiving our Lord while kneeling - Sanctus in Latin - no Judas Shuffle - no holding hands at the Our Father - damnit - we shouldn't have to pack the pews with Protestants to get a reverent mass!

Congrats!

Any comments pro/con/bewildered from the protestant attendees?

Nothing direct. My OPC friend (an elder) asked me today about some of the specifics. I was almost expecting some grief from an uncle or too (Independent Baptist preachers) but didn't hear anything.
