The Ideal Woman

The ideal woman has the heart of a servant. She is humble. She puts others before herself. She is chaste.

A feminist would be angered at such a description but only foolishly so. The ideal man is exactly the same.

The ideal man has the heart of a servant. He is humble. He puts others before himself. He is chaste.

Our culture accepts one and rejects the other. Women have an especially hard time in our society - what passes for feminine "virtues" are promiscuity and bitchiness (pardon my French).

Hi.
Found your blog randomly. I just want to comment that not all feminists think women should put themselves first, be promiscuous and embrace bitchiness. The Christ-follower is the suffering servant, regaurdless of gender. I think what true feminism (not the sexism that has grown in recent years) is about women asking for equal respect, consideration and compensation for work done. Oh, and having the greater world acknowledge that raising kids is a full-time job.
Sorry to be a bother, but gneralizing that all feminists don't embrace humility is not acurate. :)

In Christ,
Brekke
